The Getaway House
The Getaway House is a c.1800sq ft home being built on two acres in a rural part of West Mayo. It is comprised of a two story main building with 3 large bedrooms an office and an open plan kitchen and living room. A spacious conservatory with views over the Mayo mountains and a large fully equipped first floor Home Theater/Media Room. A small second building contains a 250sq ft workshop and a mezzanine living/entertaining areas
Situated in a National Park it is in an area of outstanting natural spendour and commands impressive views over the Mayo countryside. Designed and built as a sustainable eco home for the twentyfirst century the build includes a number of innovations including;
